AI tools are starting to do more than answer questions. They can open files, send drafts, book things, change code, and click buttons. That can help. It can also make a mess fast if nobody knows the rules.
A chatbot used to be like asking a smart friend for ideas. Now some AI helpers can touch real things: your files, calendar, email drafts, website, money tools, or work accounts.
People are saying yes to new AI helpers before they have a simple checklist. What is the AI allowed to touch? What must it ask before doing? Who checks the work? How do you undo a mistake?
The old rule was: computers wait for you to click. The new rule is: sometimes the helper clicks for you. So you need house rules before you hand over the keys.
